As we continue to grow and strengthen our leadership team, we are seeking a driven and organized Assistant Administrator to support daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and help foster an exceptional workplace culture.
Position Summary
The Assistant Administrator supports the facility’s Administrator in managing operations, supervising staff, implementing policies, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. This role is ideal for a licensed, emerging leader in long-term care who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes for residents and supporting teams with integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Administrator in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the facility
- Support compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., CMS, Minnesota Department of Health)
- Help coordinate staff scheduling, human resources, resident admissions, and customer service
- Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs
- Respond to family, resident, and staff concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Participate in survey readiness, audits, and reporting
- Provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Administrator
- Support employee engagement, retention, and training initiatives
- Assist with budget monitoring, purchasing, and cost control as directed
- Collaborate with department heads to maintain a high standard of care and facility operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care or healthcare leadership required
- Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, quality standards, and healthcare reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and foster a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
