We are looking for a Nutrition Coordinator to join our team and provide nutritious meals to the children in our program. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, a passion for child nutrition, and an ability to think on their feet. Must have experience and /or formal training in management skills, a valid driver's license, adequate car insurance and reliable transportation, an Associate's Degree in or two years of college credit in a nutrition related field and must obtain Food Sanitation Certification within 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Write menus ensuring that they meet the nutritional needs and requirements of each child, including accommodations for medically based diets.
- Ensure funds from the USDA Food Consumer Services Child Nutrition Program are the primary source of payment for meal service.
- Provide nutrition activities to the children in the classrooms.
- Ensure that food safety and sanitation procedures are in compliance and maintained at each site.
- Secure an agreement for meals at all sites with the school district or private vendor.
- Order food.
- Supervise kitchen staff.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
