Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and help improve the quality of life for our patients. The ideal candidate will work with individuals of all ages who are experiencing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to participate in daily activities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will help these individuals regain independence by developing customized treatment plans and interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations of patients to assess their physical, emotional, and mental abilities
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving independence and quality of life
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with individuals with a variety of physical and mental health conditions
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in occupational therapy
