Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing occupational therapy programs that support independence in daily living.
- Work primarily with children, but potentially across age groups, in various care settings.
- Support patients with ADLs and mobility exercises.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists and contribute to care plans.
- Document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is preferred but we are looking more for experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and care planning
- Interest or experience working with diverse populations, especially pediatrics and geriatrics
- Familiarity with acute care, occupational health, home health, or rehab settings
