Counsel Attorney (Part-Time, Virtual)
Location: Remote (Florida-based applicants only)
Our law firm is seeking an experienced Of Counsel Attorney for part-time, as-needed assignments.
This is a flexible, virtual position designed for an attorney with a strong background in both workers compensation and commercial litigation, looking to contribute their expertise on a project basis.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed in Florida to practice law
Proven experience with both workers' compensation and commercial litigation
Experience handling jury trials and bench trials
Solid background in civil litigation
Proficient in using CLIO for case management
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to manage cases efficiently and effectively, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
Job Responsibilities:
Handle various assignments as needed, including case review, legal research, and trial preparation
Provide strategic legal counsel for litigation matters
Represent clients in both workers compensation and commercial litigation cases
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and correspondence
Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel, ensuring exceptional service and case management
Collaborate with other members of the firm, as required
This is a part-time, virtual position with assignments based on firm needs.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
