Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to collect, analyze, and maintain patient data and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review and verify documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
- Utilize electronic health record systems to accurately enter and update patient information.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of data, reports, and other relevant documents to appropriate entities.
- Identify and report potential data discrepancies or errors and take necessary steps to resolve them.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare data management.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations, including HIPAA.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and data entry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
