We are seeking a skilled and efficient Virtual Medical Data Processing Clerk to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be collecting, organizing, and entering medical data into the company's database. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and organize medical data from various sources, including patient records, lab reports, and physician notes.
- Enter and maintain accurate medical data in the company's database.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of medical data, identifying any discrepancies or missing information.
- Work closely with the medical team to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all patient information.
- Follow company policies and procedures for data entry and data management.
- Identify and report any issues or concerns related to data quality or integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to data processing and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical data entry or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in data management and the use of database software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Working Conditions:
This position is a virtual role and can be performed remotely. The candidate must have access to a computer and a stable internet connection. The work schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required depending on the workload.
