A global power distribution company is currently searching for a bilingual (Korean/English) Office Administrator to join their Human Resources department in the Buffalo Grove, IL area. The ideal candidate has previous office support or receptionist experience in an industrial environment, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.
Office Administrator Responsibilities Include:
- General clerical duties, including but not limited to: scheduling, records management, data entry, handling general phone inquiries about the company, and greeting visitors on arrival and directing them appropriately
- Provide administrative support to the HR department at large by assisting with onboarding paperwork, training schedules, and maintaining personnel files
- Schedule travel, appointments, and meetings for executive managers and external visitors, and track / submit expense reports
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing departments to procure materials for the office as well as production
- Act as an intermediary between office management and production teams, facilitating effective communication
- Assist with analysis of department functions and participate in improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Office Administrator Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous office support/receptionist experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiar with ERP software or data entry systems
- Business-level Korean language ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and a customer service demeanor
