Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient office management. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The Office Assistant will be responsible for various clerical duties, customer support, and assisting with financial software like QuickBooks.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Manage filing systems and maintain organized records
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity
- Utilize Google Suite for document creation, scheduling, and communication
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, answering phones, and managing correspondence
- Act as a personal assistant to senior staff when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a related administrative role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not required
- Strong computer literacy with experience in Google Suite applications
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
