Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring patients are well taken care of with all their dental needs. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Our office is an established dental office that has been around for over 40 years.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring and training new employees
- Coordinate administrative activities, such as scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Oversee medical administrative support functions, including patient registration, insurance verification, and billing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare laws
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Assist with financial management tasks, such as budgeting and expense tracking
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role in a dental office
- Strong knowledge of office systems and procedures
- Familiarity with Dental administrative support functions in an acute care or managed care setting
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in fiscal management practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare laws
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
