Bookkeeper / Office Manager – Multi-Talented Operations Ninja!

Our two brands keep life exciting: Risk Racing (motocross gear) and STKR Concepts (cutting-edge lighting). What You’ll Do
This is not a “sit in the back and crunch numbers all day” job. Yes, you’ll own the books, but you’ll also be the organizational hub of our team. Think of it as part Bookkeeper, part Office Manager, part Operations NINJA!
The Number-Crunching Side
- Manage bookkeeping workflows in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (AP, AR, invoicing, sales orders, customer accounts, custom pricing, inventory)
- Reconcile multiple bank and credit card accounts — every penny has its place
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and execute monthly/quarterly NC state & federal tax filings, plus sales tax submissions (our CPA handles year-end returns)
- Work with our accountant to ensure accuracy and redundancy
- Generate, interpret, and share financial reports to support business decisions
- Create and optimize processes, templates, and automations in QuickBooks and integrated systems
The Office & Operations Side
- Act as the go-to organizer — keeping schedules, office supplies, and workflows running smoothly
- Support HR admin tasks such as onboarding, PTO tracking, and policy updates
- Coordinate internal communications so everyone’s on the same page
- Help manage vendor relationships, office needs, and service providers
- Assist with order processing and work alongside the warehouse team (a break from spreadsheets!)
- Pitch in where needed — in a small business, we all wear a few hats
What We’re Looking For
- 2–7 years bookkeeping experience (manufacturing/product-based with inventory strongly preferred)
- Advanced QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise skills
- Strong software skills
- Experience with tax prep, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Bonus if you’ve worked with EDI software
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-obsessed (the person who spots the one mismatched column)
- Strong communicator and team player — comfortable juggling both numbers and people
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or strong experience in a closely related field preferred

Location: Troutman, NC (Lake Norman area, just 35 miles north of Charlotte)
Compensation: $20–$26/hr (depending on experience & fit) + performance bonus
