Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00
Schedule: 10- 14hr shifts - 7 days on 7 days off
Location Information
Located near Belfield and Dickinson North Dakota, our Fryburg Rail Terminal handles loading crude oil and natural gas into rail tanker cars.
Position Description
- This position requires the successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
- Transload crude oil and/or NGL products from railcars and trucks utilizing safe operating procedures.
- Climb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect, hook up, disconnect and seal.
Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions.
Flexibility to work an on-call schedule that will require overtime (based on production needs) as well as weekends and holidays.
- Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Read, write, and communicate in English & understand basic math.
- Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment.
- Working knowledge of Watco Safety and Operating principles
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds alone, twist, and climb. Must be able to talk and hear well enough to communicate with all team members, vendors, and customers 100% of the time
- Participate in safety briefings, job briefings, and pass along information from team members, management or customer.
- Operate in a manner where SAFETY and the ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importance.
- Perform daily inspections on all stationary and mobile equipment
- Prepare equipment for product transfer.
- Start, stop, and operate equipment within defined operating parameters.
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned.
- Goal oriented and results driven
- Ability to learn and become proficient in all aspects of the operation
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
Requirements
Ability to reliably commute to the job site- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions.
- Must be available for shift work when applicable, overtime when required, and must be available to respond during working and non-working hours as required.

- Various small hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets)
