Job Description:

As an Operations Capacity Planner , you will be responsible for developing the master production plan to meet customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You'll work under limited supervision in non-routine situations, using established policies, procedures, and business strategies to guide decisions and resolve complex problems.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and timely availability of raw materials and resources.

  • Monitor material flow and backlog between work centers; prioritize and manage shifting production needs.

  • Maintain accurate production status updates; coordinate with project coordinators and materials personnel to ensure progress against production plans.

  • Interface with senior leadership and the sales team to present capacity plans, communicate risks, and support decision-making.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving cycle times, resolving manufacturing issues, and preventing the reoccurrence of customer concerns.

  • Analyze and improve processes to enhance quality, service, and productivity while meeting key performance indicators.

  • Review master production requirements and work with manufacturing leaders to evaluate capacity and manpower constraints.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or sales operations within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience presenting operational information to senior leaders or cross-functional stakeholders.
