GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Director of Solid Waste (Solid Waste Coordinator) performs dead animal pick up and transport. Performs duties necessary for the operation of the city/county recycling facility and recycling drop-off locations. Performs related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Picks up and transports dead animals to the collection center.
Maintains records of pick up.
Cleans equipment after each shift.
Operates equipment utilized at the recycling center.
Operates a pick up truck hauling a trailor
Assists customers in unloading recyclables and ensures the materials are appropriate for acceptance by the center.
Performs roadside litter clean up.
Cleans and maintains facility and grounds. Performs related work as necessary. lifications
- Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Maya, or Blender.
- Strong artistic skills with a good eye for detail and design.
- Basic math skills for understanding timing and spacing in animation sequences.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding movement dynamics in animations.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation or supervising teams is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with animal husbandry or equine knowledge can enhance character realism when animating animals.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for set designs or equipment handling during production setups.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Graduate from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED). Two (2) years experience working with the public preferred.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Completes logs and reports as necessary. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the work hazards and applicable safety precautions associated with assigned equipment. Skill in operating a pick up truck hauling a trailor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work duties are performed both indoors and outdoors. Unpleasant odor from dead animals Nature of duties requires a great deal of bending, kneeling, and moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Possess excellent manual dexterity. Possess a valid drivers license

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
