Job Title: Production Operator Department: Manufacturing
Location: Independence, KY Supervisor: Production Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Strong emphasis on Safety, Quality and Teamwork. Perform essential duties required to produce finished products throughout the production process. Including but not limited to, batch weigh ups, emptying mix tanks and material transfers. Requirements will include being able to be cross trained in multiple production areas, reliable and team oriented.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Responsible for producing batches of pigments or inks in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to quality requirements.
•Operating production equipment to produce quality products in accordance with standard procedures.
•Operating material handling equipment, including hoists and forklifts.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Preferred experience in a production environment working with manufacturing equipment.
•Comfortable working with hoists and/or forklifts.
•Repeatedly lifting 55 lbs.
•Stand for long periods of time.
•Drug and background screening.
