Assisting staff with daily lab tasks such as:
- Archiving paraffin and OCT blocks.
- Printing microscope slides and labeling using barcode printing software.
- Scanning microscope slides and archiving scanned slides.
- Collecting biohazardous and non-hazardous waste material and disposing appropriately.
- Taking packages to the loading dock for outbound shipments.
- Washing and autoclaving surgical instruments and other tools pertinent to case processing.
- Assisting staff with daily lab tasks such as equipment maintenance, cleaning, ordering supplies,and stocking supplies.
- Expected Salary:
$15.00 per hour
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a high school diploma and two years of related experience.
Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred:
Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately type and label specimen IDs based on laboratory coding
system
