Summary
We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our practice. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual disorders, and providing appropriate treatment options to enhance our patients' vision and overall eye health. Patient's are scheduled every 30 minutes.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatment options as needed.
- Fitting of contact lenses; myopia control
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular check-ups.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state optometry license to practice in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of optical systems and ophthalmic procedures.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Experience with medical coding and managing medical records is preferred.
