We are seeking two Oracle Cloud Data Management experts with 5+ years of experience in managing Oracle Cloud systems within enterprise environments, preferably in utilities or public infrastructure. These roles support the modernization of DWSD’s IT systems under a capital improvement initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for enterprise data management
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines, APIs, and automated workflows
- Manage data warehouses, backups, and migration processes across systems
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure data availability for permitting, customer service, and operations dashboards
- Maintain data governance protocols and compliance with regulatory frameworks
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud data environments (including Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Analytics Cloud)
- Strong experience in managing utility-scale databases and data flows
- SQL/PLSQL and scripting knowledge essential
- Experience integrating Oracle platforms with applications such as Cityworks, CIS, or permitting systems preferred
- Knowledge of data governance and cyber risk practices in public infrastructure
- Background in public utility data warehousing or analytics
- Oracle certifications (OCA, OCP)
The position is remote. Occasional on-site meetings in Detroit, MI may be required based on project phase or client request.
