Suburban Sports is an outdoor sports retail shop based in Berlin Connecticut. We are looking for an associate for our ecommerce and warehouse department. This position is very customer based with daily customer interactions.
The job functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Complete fulfillment orders including picking merchandise, packing & shipping orders, and making in store pickup orders ready for customers
- Respond to e-commerce customer inquiries
- Facilitate expedited shipping when applicable
- Process cancelations, returns, refunds, and add-ons
- Readily adjust and adapt to store management priorities, always demonstrating professionalism
- Ensure Fulfillment Area standards are maintained in an organized and clean manner
Minimum Qualifications/ Skills:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days and weekends
- Must be able to carry and lift up to 50-pound boxes, stand and move about the store constantly
- Basic mathematical skills and data entry skills
- Proficient in use of technology to successfully engage in customer interactions
- Adhere to customer service best practices
- Enthusiasm for outdoor sports
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months retail experience
- 6 months experience in a customer service or order fulfillment position
- Any experience in retail marketing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
