Beck Commercial Roofing is an Engineer owned Commercial Roofing company with projects in 7 states currently. We treat our employees like "family" and truly care about our employees and customers. Our top salesperson will make $400,000-500,000 ++ this year and we have a draw plus commission. Our company has an appointment setter with new leads for commercial roofing projects weekly. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our commercial roofing dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for commercial roofs, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth in your designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the market and have a passion for sales. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with our commercial roofing clients.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business development goals.
- Identify and pursue new leads through various channels through cold calling
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify potential opportunities for upselling.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align efforts and maximize sales potential.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to clients, assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while seeking opportunities for account management growth.
Skills
- Proven experience in business development or outside sales, preferably in roofing.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in lead generation techniques and strategies to identify potential customers.
- Ability to upsell products and services based on customer needs and market trends.
- Familiarity with sales management principles and practices is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
