Are you a window and door expert with a builder's eye and an architect's vocabulary?
We are hiring a seasoned Outside Sales Representative who can speak fluently about fenestration, dissect architectural plan sets, and serve as a true consultative partner to custom home builders and architects. Join Architectural Window and Door, a fast-growing supplier serving the high-end residential market in Southwest Florida.
This role is not for beginners. We're looking for someone with years of experience in premium windows and doors, strong plan reading and takeoff skills, and an existing network of builder relationships. You'll walk onto a jobsite or into an architect's office and command respect- because you've done it before.

What You'll Do
Architectural Plan Review & Technical Sales
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings for high-end homes
- Complete precise window and door takeoffs using plan sets and field dimensions
- Guide clients on energy codes, impact ratings, and architectural specifications
- Create submittals and schedules aligned with project phases and builder timelines
Client & Builder Relationship Management
- Leverage and expand your builder and architect network throughout Southwest Florida
- Serve as the trusted point of contact for builders and designers during pre-construction and execution
- Present product options that match both form and function for luxury residences
- Solve field-specific challenges with proactive solutions and trade knowledge
Sales Execution & Growth
- Own the sales process from lead generation through delivery
- Deliver accurate, timely quotes and track each stage via CRM
- Monitor builder budgets, design changes, and product lead times to maintain margin and client trust
Who You Are
- Window & Door Industry Veteran - Minimum 5-10 years in outside sales within premium window/door systems (e.g., Pella, Andersen, Western, Sierra Pacific, Marvin, etc.)
- Fluent in Blueprints - Comfortable reading full architectural plan sets, including elevations, schedules, and sections
- Connected - You bring an existing network of high-end custom builders and/or architects
- Detail-Oriented - You've done full takeoffs, managed submittals, and handled change orders without missing a beat
- Client-Focused Communicator - You translate technical specs into value for clients and never leave a builder hanging
- Organized & Responsive - You track multiple projects, follow up quickly, and keep clients and internal teams aligned
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Familiarity with Procore, BuilderTrend, or similar platforms is a plus
- Comfortable with CRM tools, quoting systems, and Microsoft Office
- Must meet all employment eligibility requirements under federal and Florida law
