We’re looking for a proactive Sales Representative to grow our presence in the U.S., with a focus on the Florida region. This contract-based role is ideal for a self-employed professional with strong industry connections. You’ll be responsible for building relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and contractors in the plumbing and water treatment sectors.
This is a contractual position for an independent contractor who will invoice Corro-Protec for hours worked and earned commissions. The consultant will manage their own schedule, travel, and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aimed at meeting or exceeding sales targets within the Florida market.
- Customer Engagement: Identify and engage with potential customers, including wholesalers, retailers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Product Presentation: Effectively present and demonstrate Corro-Protec products to prospective clients, emphasizing key features such as corrosion prevention, odor elimination, and limescale reduction.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with new and existing customers, delivering exceptional customer service and ongoing support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies that increase brand awareness and product demand.
- Industry Representation: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Corro-Protec, expanding the company’s presence in the U.S. market.
- Travel Requirements: Regular travel within Florida is required to meet with customers and attend industry events. Occasional travel to Corro-Protec headquarters in Canada for paid training is also required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the residential plumbing, water treatment or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the benefits of Corro-Protec products.
- Strong computer proficiency: email, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as an independent contractor.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel extensively within Florida.
- Flexibility to travel to Corro-Protec headquarters in Canada for training as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
