Cannistraro is looking for an Outside Sales Representative – Service to help grow our Plumbing and HVAC service offerings. This role focuses on building strong client relationships with director-level building owners and facility managers, while working closely with our internal Service Team to deliver tailored technical solutions.
You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities through to supporting implementation. A background in HVAC and/or Plumbing service, paired with the ability to understand client needs and offer consultative solutions, is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key building owners and managed accounts
- Manage the entire sales process: prospecting, qualifying, presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing
- Represent Cannistraro’s service capabilities with professionalism and technical credibility
- Promote renewable service agreements as a foundation for long-term client partnerships
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals aligned with business growth objectives
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across Cannistraro’s full range of service offerings
- Collaborate with Service Team members to develop estimates and execution strategies
- Support project delivery by ensuring smooth handoffs and responsive client communication
- Prepare account plans and sales forecasts to support team planning
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to adjust sales strategy as needed
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities in CRM systems
- Support and model a strong safety culture by following company safety protocols
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of Plumbing and/or HVAC service experience, ideally with exposure to sales or account management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Strong communication skills — able to clearly convey technical and service information to a variety of audiences
- Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM tools and standard sales practices
