Outside Service Sales Representative

Western Trailers is seeking an Outside Service Sales Representative. This position is based out of our facility in Spokane, WA.

The Outside Service Sales Rep position is accountable for selling routine maintenance, repair services, and conduct follow up on unsold services and customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

 Travel to customer locations to build relationships and sell service/repair work (75% local traveling)

 Make cold calls on potential new customers.

 Complete call report sheet for Friday morning review with Service Manager.

 Prioritize customer list for next week’s outside calls, review with Service Manager for concerns or questions.

 Review weekly the success of previous week’s service sales with Service Manager.

 Assist in answering phone, greeting customers, calling customers collecting on invoices, walking customers through the complete repair process, “Western Way delivery procedure”.

 Assist with Service Manager and Service Writers in estimating incoming jobs, writing work orders, closing work orders, ordering parts, coordinating parts arrival times with scheduled jobs coming into shop.

 Assist in maintaining schedule board for incoming repairs.

 Assist in building shop revenue through sales of product and services.

 Promote branch harmony within the service department and all departments within the branch and home office.

Requirements / Qualifications:

 HS Diploma or GED equivalency

 Must meet attendance, be punctual & dependable

 Working well as a team member, or independently

 Experience in the semi trailer industry preferred

 Outside sales experience preferred

 Computer skills with ability to learn or have knowledge of ADP software

 Previous experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
