Job Summary
Night Shift 11pm-7am Every Friday and every other Saturday-Sunday.
You are responsible for room checks and household task.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide direct support in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices, including patient monitoring techniques.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as required by their individual needs.
- A compassionate attitude towards caregiving and a commitment to improving the lives of those served.
