As a overnight manager for the Saratoga Arms Hotel, you’ll help create a memorable vacation experience for guests visiting Saratoga Springs. Your goal will be to provide exceptional service for both our in-house guests and potential future guests that engage with the hotel on the phone, via text or through our website chat box. Your success will help the Saratoga Arms Hotel position itself as the premiere luxury hotel in Saratoga Springs.

REQUIREMENTS
For candidates that have an innate desire to serve others but may not have applicable experience, please apply. Please keep the following in mind as you submit your application:
o Experience: previous hotel experience is not required. If you describe yourself as warm, empathetic, teamwork oriented, conscientious and optimistic, we’ll train you!
o Education: a high school diploma is encouraged, a bachelors degree is ideal.
o Skills: you’ll understand how to address a guest’s questions or concerns. You’ll understand how to balance competing priorities. You know how to speak to guests in a clear, concise and compelling way.
o Characteristics: in this position, you’ll be staffed solo, so you must be self-sufficient and self-motivated without direct supervision.
RESPONSIBILITES
As an overnight manager you’ll ensure the smooth operation of the hotel overnight, working 2 shifts/week from 11:00pm – 7:00am on either Wednesday or Thursday nights and Friday nights. In addition to working the front desk, you’ll reconcile the building’s financial records every day and distribute maintenance, housekeeping and other guest requests to the appropriate daytime departments.
o Ensuring guests have a memorable stay in Saratoga Springs by providing exceptional service.
o Monitoring the communication channels guests use to reach our hotel including the phone, website chat window and in-house guest text messaging platform.
o Contributing to all hotel departments including food and beverage, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations on the overnight shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.20 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
