We are a growing urgent care facility looking for a passionate, forward thinking, and caring Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Per Diem for SATURDAYS/ HOLIDAYS to complement our current staff. MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED! EITHER IN INTERNAL MEDICINE, PRIMARY CARE, OR URGENT CARE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE ! THIS IS PER DIEM POSITION!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Examines patients to determine presence of disease utilizing physical examinations, lab reports, and medical history to ascertain the nature and extent of disease and prescribes treatments as necessary.
Reviews results of lab tests and diagnostic imaging and arrange appropriate follow ups.
Documents patient information in medical records according to Electronic MR protocols.
Ensures compliance with medical risk management and health care related regulations and policies.
Educates patients in health promotion and disease prevention.

Education:
For PA:
Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the national commission on certification of Physician Assistant
Current license to Practice as a Physician assistant in California
Current Physician Assistant Certificate
FOR NP:
Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program
Current license to Practice as a Nurse Practitioner in California
Current Nurse Practitioner Certificate
