Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor, ensuring high-quality finishes and craftsmanship in residential projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction and maintenance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush/roller methods.
- Perform drywall installation and repairs to ensure smooth surfaces for painting.
- Assist with masonry tasks such as bricklaying or stonework as required.
- Install fixtures and cabinetry, ensuring proper alignment and secure fittings.
- Conduct remodeling tasks including frame carpentry for structural modifications.
- Finish concrete surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics and durability.
- Read blueprints accurately to follow project specifications and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting with a strong portfolio of completed work.
- Proficiency in drywall installation, masonry, fixture installation, frame carpentry, concrete finishing, and remodeling tasks.
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
