Job Summary:
Elder Law office in Seminole Florida is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal with experience in PROBATE/ESTATE PLANNING. Successful applicant must be detail-oriented have a background in Probate and Trust Administration as well as Estate Planning.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain numerous probate case files including drafting probate administration pleadings and follow through maintaining calendar of a probate file from start to finish;
- Review client's legal documents;
-Ability to review financial statements as part of an estate administration;
-E-file with probate court;
-Draft legal documents including wills, trusts, advance directives;
- Utilize document management system, such as Prevail or similar legal software, to manage client file;
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other staff members;
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Skills:
- Knowledge of probate and trust administration (2 years' experience).
- Ability to write clearly, accurately and concisely.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive legal information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
