Blackstone Law, APC is a boutique, rapidly growing litigation firm focusing on labor and employment and personal injury. The litigation team is comprised of personable, published and well-known trial attorneys. Candidates will be working closely with the incredibly talented attorneys and the managing partner and will receive significant experience in and exposure to various areas of litigation.
Blackstone Law maintains a fun, comfortable, fast-paced working environment. We are seeking a highly skilled, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience in litigation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast- paced environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a paralegal in litigation, with a focus on labor and employment law.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong customer service skills with a client-focused approach.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Intricate knowledge of state court procedures and deadlines
- Ability to prepare complaints and discovery using templates
- Ability to file in State and Federal courts
