Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Parasail Mate to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the safe operation of parasailing activities, ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests while maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to manage equipment effectively.
Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of parasailing equipment, including rigging and securing the parasail.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed before, during, and after each parasailing session.
- Conduct pre-flight checks on all equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Manage the launch and retrieval of parasails, ensuring a smooth operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by briefing guests on safety procedures and answering any questions they may have.
- Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions regarding safe operating conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment area and vessel.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in rigging preferred.
- Ability to manage equipment effectively and ensure safety compliance.
- Previous experience in a marine or outdoor recreational environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Must be physically fit, as the role requires lifting and moving equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
