This position involves scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs, use of app-based scheduling tools, and clear communication with dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate paratransit vans to transport wheelchair-bound and ambulatory patients
- Pick up and drop off passengers at pre-assigned locations and times
- Maintain accurate trip documentation and collect payments when applicable
- Operate app-based routing and scheduling tools with confidence
- Ensure vehicles are clean, stocked, and ready for service
- Maintain passenger confidentiality and uphold all rights and dignity during service
- Comply with all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company protocols
- Support team operations as needed—may include assisting with ambulance transports under proper authorization
