A. Daily Responsibilities:
- Trim grass around parks, recreational areas, and leisure trails.
- Remove any leaves and debris around KKPOA amenity areas, using a blower and hand tools.
- Maintain proper gas mixture for each trimmer or blower being used. Report equipment problems to supervisor.
- Maintain pool areas and chemical balance.
- Plant annual flowers and replace/add bushes around the park areas and recreational facilities.
- Maintain all leisure trails. Monitor any deterioration and report to a supervisor
- Wear safety equipment while operating trimmers, blowers, mowers or performing other duties requiring safety equipment.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
B. General Responsibilities:
- Perform all assigned set-up, work area maintenance, clean up and closedown procedures and duties.
- Exhibit courteous, pleasant conduct with all people always.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Available to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed, in addition to regular scheduled hours.
- This job may require stooping, bending, or lifting up to 80 lbs.
- This job may require additional training provided by the company.
This position performs landscape maintenance around Keowee Key parks and recreational facilities including pool maintenance.
