We are seeking a Part-time Admin Assistant/Retail Manager to join our team! I have two companies and I need help with both. I need someone who can perform a varied list of tasks to help me streamline the processes. One is a garden design company and the other is a plant and gift retail store.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform other administrative tasks as directed
- Supervise team of retail sales workers
- Schedule shifts, coordinate with other workers
- Organize and schedule events, coordinating guests, etc
- Keep on top of what is needs to be restocked, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration, retail sales, management, or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and leadership qualities
- General knowledge of plants would be helpful, but not necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
