Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including cleaning, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas.
- Maintain floors through regular sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure a clean appearance.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Execute commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas to create a welcoming environment.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks that may involve heavy-duty equipment or specialized cleaning products.
- Provide porter services by managing waste disposal and ensuring all areas are free of debris.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
