Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental health. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
- Administer anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental terminology and software such as Epic or Eaglesoft.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide high-quality care.
Experience
- A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Utah Dental license.
- Previous experience in general dentistry is preferred. However, new grads are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential..
