We are seeking a part-time extended day assistant for our after-school extended day program. This position is for Wednesdays only, from 3:00 - 5:30 PM, each week of the 25-26 school year.
Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Extended Day Coordinator:
- Is responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in Extended Day by providing careful and concentrated supervision of the children’s activities such as homework, building legos, coloring, outside play, etc. No student may be left unsupervised at any time.
- Administers first aid to children when necessary.
- Maintains a clean, safe and orderly environment.
- Greets parents in a friendly and professional manner during pick-up. Assists with student check-out and accurately records pick-up times.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with children
- Committed Christian aligned with the Academy’s Mission and Statement of Faith, and actively attending a local church
- Able to obtain a clear background check upon hire
