Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Housekeeper/Office Assistant to join our team where you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. This position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong multitasking abilities. The Housekeeper/Office Assistant will be responsible for various housekeeping tasks as well as administrative tasks once cross-trained, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. You will be responsible for ensuring rooms and common areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting bathrooms.
- Restock essential supplies such as toiletries, towels, and room amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, and other common areas.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for additional services or amenities.
- Follow hotel policies and safety procedures when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Duties
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the office space, including custodial duties.
- Support housekeeping management by ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Handle commercial and residential cleaning tasks as needed, including carpet cleaning and laundering items.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure that all office supplies are stocked and available.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and visitors to the office.
