Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Children: 2 (Boy – 2 years, Girl – 4 years)
Compensation: $20–$25/hour
About the Position:
A warm, active family is looking for a playful, engaging, and reliable nanny to care for their two young children two afternoons per week during the school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves outdoor adventures, creative play, and sparking curiosity in little ones!
The Children:
- Age 4: Energetic, loves arts & crafts, always asking questions
- Age 2: Curious, enjoys trucks, storytelling, and outside play
Both children thrive on imaginative activities, long walks, and playground time.
The Ideal Nanny:
- Warm, nurturing, and patient
- Enjoys planning fun, developmentally appropriate activities
- Loves being outdoors and fostering creativity
- Experienced with food allergies and comfortable using an EpiPen
- Reliable and looking for a consistent, year-long role
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for a 2-year-old and 4-year-old
- Plan engaging activities (arts & crafts, reading, outdoor play)
- Take children on walks and playground outings
- Support daily routines (including potty training for the younger child)
- Monitor for allergy needs (family will provide training)
- Communicate openly with parents about the day and child updates
Light Housekeeping:
- Help kids tidy toys after play
- Rinse/load dishes after meals
- Occasional small laundry loads
- Clean up child-related messes (snacks, crafts, accidents)
Additional Details:
- Family has two friendly cats (nanny will separate them before leaving)
- Parents are flexible and open to occasional schedule swaps if needed
