Part-Time Order Processing & Customer Service Representative
We are currently hiring a part-time team member to help with daily order processing and customer service. In this role, you'll be handling orders, answering emails and phone calls, and helping with general office tasks. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, efficient, and customer-focused.
Ideal Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM — perfect for stay-at-home parents or anyone looking for a mid-day work schedule!
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and pack customer orders each day
- Answer customer questions via phone and email in a friendly and professional way
- Accurately enter and process orders and transactions
- Use internal systems and resources to find solutions for customers
- Help improve service and processes through quality feedback
- Handle both simple and complex customer inquiries with patience and respect
- Build good relationships with customers
- Clearly identify issues and escalate them when needed
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Understand customer needs quickly and offer appropriate solutions
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions in the system
- Assist with inventory, purchasing, data entry, reporting, and other admin tasks
- Work with other team members to ensure great service and smooth operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Good multitasking and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to stay calm with frustrated customers
- Good listening and problem-solving skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-changing environment
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
