Local Home Medical Equipment company seeking a Repair Technician for Home Medical Equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, and automobile patient lifts. Position includes installing automotive wheelchair lifts on a Class 3 receiver if candidate is qualified. Candidate will be responsible for driving company van, working shop hours, and being able to lift up to 65 lbs. Customers live in a 2 hour radius of Louisville ,KY so there is no overnight travel. The ideal candidate must have a calm and mature demeanor for working with the elderly and handicapped persons, be mechanically inclined, and be familiar with reading a volt meter to repair battery powered items.
This position requires background check, valid driver’s license, clean driving history. No exceptions.
Previous experience repairing Medical Equipment/Durable Medical Equipment a plus but not required. Training is paid and provided by the company. All tools, transportation, uniforms, and fuel is provided directly by the company.
Location Hours are M-F 8:00am to 4:00PM. No overnight travel. No nights or weekends. Part Time is flexible 3 days a week 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
