We are currently seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary practice. This role requires a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for animal care.
Position Details
- Shifts Available (2): Saturdays 2pm-10pm and Saturdays 4pm-12am
- Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple phone lines efficiently
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with clients
- Welcome and assist clients in a professional, friendly manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Email records to other clinics
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable
Physical & Technical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb; able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Visual acuity sufficient to read, write, and use computer systems
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate phones, computers, and office equipment
