Job Summary
The Parts & Logistics Coordinator supports Machine Shop functions by maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ensuring parts and products are shipped and received in a timely fashion.
Job Functions
- Assist with day-to-day shipping and receiving activities
- Perform periodic cycle counts and report the results
- Assist with generating purchase requisitions, managing delivery, and receipt
- Assist with packaging equipment and consumable goods
- File shipping and production documentation
- Carry out general office upkeep
- High school diploma required
- 1-2 years of shipping, receiving and inventory control experience preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel
- Experience with a computer based inventory control system is preferred
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Customer focused and team oriented
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
