The Vision Centers is a full-service optical practice committed to delivering high-quality eye care and exceptional customer service. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our front office team at our Northwest Las Vegas location.
Job Summary:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play an important role in creating a positive, efficient experience from start to finish. This role includes appointment scheduling, patient communication, and general administrative support in a busy clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Greet and assist patients in person, by phone, and via email
- Coordinate outpatient procedures and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate patient records and perform data entry
- Provide front desk support and assist with day-to-day operations
- Respond to billing inquiries and update account information
- Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced, phone-intensive setting
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Prior experience in a healthcare, dental, optical, or medical office preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems or scheduling software
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) are required for all staff
- Closed on major holidays
Experience:
- Customer service: 2+ years (Preferred)
- Optical/ Ophthalmology: 1+year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1+ year (Preferred)
