This position involves cross training yet is enjoyable for someone interested in the root of natural healthcare and it is one of the most important positions in a chiropractic office.
Our office is a place where you will be attending to the needs of the patients of two chiropractors. Having a head for numbers and eye for detail is advantage in this job. Your ability to follow & replicate procedures precisely is also very important.
Honesty, dependability, and computer savvy a must and front desk or client service experience mandatory.

Hours:
PART TIME (approximately 29 hours available per week)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (one hour lunch between 1:30 and 2:30)
(closed Thursdays)
Tuesday afternoon: 2:00 pm to 7: 00 pm
Tuesday mornings will be used for training onboarding until training is completed)
ALL SHIFTS HOURS MAY VARY AT END OF SHIFT DEPENDENT ON PATIENT VOLUME & WORK COMPLETION FOR THE DAY!
Job Details
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments, performing recalls.
- Welcome patients as they contact the center personally or by telephone, and explain the services available, payment categories, and billing procedures
- Interfacing with billing manager
- Greeting patients with a smile and making the healing process.
- Schedule appointments; direct walk-in patients and emergencies as per established policies and procedures
- Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately.
- Assist in displaying daily office events for social media & patient education
- Reviews and verification of patient coverage of insurance with tracking of visits if required
- Collects care plan fees or co-pays/deductibles prior to the patient being seen by the provider per established policies and procedures. Inform patient of their outstanding balance, collect said balance, and issue cash receipt when monies are collected
- Computer Data Entry
- Call and remind patient of his/her care plan appointment. Follow ups on patients on a daily basis.
- Work closely with Doctor and Billing Staff to assure smooth patient flow and keep waiting time less than 15 minutes.
- Helping with special events--mailings, etc.
- Public Relations to help promote the office
- Shall be given the authority to commensurate with responsibility delegated
- Is directly responsible to the Doctor
- Other related duties as the job requires such as:
- Maintaining Accurate Chart Files
- Preparing & explaining new patient care plans
- Assisting with Insurance Verification
- Preparing Daily Clinical Notes for 2 doctors
- Understanding of Chiropractic Terminology & codes
- Supporting the doctor's office and practice goals

- Excellent telephone skills & etiquette. (confident on phone or confrontational patient interactions) while many things are happening at once.
- Knowledge of billing, insurance, coding, and office functions
