1st Americare is seeking an LPN to work with our pediatric client in Prospect Park, NJ as a home health nurse. Schedule:
- Saturdays, & Sundays 11pm to 7am
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions and promoting wellness
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN in a home health setting
-Experience with trach, vent, and gtube
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Experience working with children in a healthcare setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $41.00 - $50.00 per hour
