Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor and observe patients’ conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s overall well-being.
- Support clients in participating in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and independence.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Experience in medication administration and understanding of proper protocols.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient observation and safety.
- Familiarity with group home settings or home health care environments is preferred.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the client’s living space.
- CPR certification is highly desirable, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
