Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
- Help clients with mobility issues, including lifting and transferring
- Follow resident rights guidelines and promote a respectful and inclusive environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Mental Health disorders and Traumatic Brain Injuries is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals as required
- Basic understanding of medication administration procedures
