We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help with medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring them safely.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs while adhering to any specific dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist clients with memory care and dementia-related challenges as needed.
- Provide hospice care support for clients in need of end-of-life assistance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely is essential.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are required.
- Must adhere to all health and safety protocols, including HIPAA compliance.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client needs and location.
