Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Specialist who excels in customer service. The ideal candidate will work in both commercial and residential settings, providing top-level service to ensure complete customer satisfaction and effective pest solutions. The position includes service and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspect properties inside and out for signs of pests and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop customized pest management plans based on the specific needs of each client
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain treatment options, safety precautions, and preventative measures
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments in a safe and effective manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention strategies and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with company policies and government regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pest control
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Work experience preferred
- Valid Drivers license with a clean driving record is imperative
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is not required but is valued.
- Physical ability to climb, lift, navigate and provide services inside and outside structures including in attics and crawl spaces
- Excellent communication skills (speaking and written for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
